Wuz-up God! Iz me again.

whats up god

Wuz-up God! Iz me again.

Have you ever wanted to Touch God or Talk to god?

I know that sounds ridiculous since we do that every day in our secret and public places.

But I’m referring to a conversation similar to those you would have with a brother or a friend.

You know how sometimes when the conversation gets real good and you have to place your arms around your brothers’ shoulder so you can get in close to whisper in the ear?

How about when a friend begins to sob from the adversities of life, and needs encouraging words with a hand to hold; and the warmth of your hand reminds them of the life still in their body and the hope that Jesus Christ has given us all.

Have you ever went through something so devastating that your heart had engorged with emotions and felt like it would burst out of your chest? And yes you did pray and also wept.

But what you really wanted was for your God, Jehovah-jireh, Jehovah-nissi, Jehovah shalom to wrap you in his arms and whisper in your ear, “be still for I am God”.

A Physical presence.

Yes I know the ‘holy-ghost-filled’ believers will say god is always with us covering us, and I will say to them I know but I want to feel the weight of his arms on my shoulder the warmth of is existence on my face as I look in his face.

When you said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to you, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
Do not hide Your face from me;
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not leave me nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation

Psalm 27:8-9

God is a celebrity, he is more famous than famous: he is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. ‘How bout dat’! God is cool.

Could you Imagine God created your Purpose placed it inside of you along with your gifts, talents and opportunities and then gave life to his creation (you).

Why wouldn’t you want to touch him? Why wouldn’t you want to give God a ‘High Five’?

It’s ok to think about touching him, and it’s ok to think about hugging him, his healing evolves when the desire to touch moves from a traditional thought to an expression in action.

“But Jesus said, ‘Someone touched Me; I know that power has gone out from Me.’ The woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at His feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched Him and how she had been instantly healed. Then He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace”.

LUK 8:43-47.

  1. Firstly, thanks Sir for following my blog.
    Secondly as regards this post, I must say that I have actually experienced the “touch” of God…recently I had that experience in my room and I must say, it is the best place anyone wants to be…I know someone reading this might be asking…are you sure? How true?. My answer is YES. Very true. I had fellowship with the Holy Spirit and there I was in that state. There are somethings that could be unexplained for words sake. But I must say, when we yield ourselves to God totally, he reaches out to Us.
    This is a great post Sir Jamal, I look forward to seeing more of you and reading more great content from you.
    God bless you.

    • Wow I am elated to know that you have experienced the ‘touch’. I agree with you, when we open our spirit, mind and body to God he in return reaches out to us. Thanks for the comment, I hope you find more of my writing interesting.
